Systems Engineer

Providing access to modern professional training designed in line with real-world challenges is paramount to that success.      We are looking for a skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team of experienced engineers and help with the support, implementation and maintenance of our expanding Data Protection team. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor the infrastructure powering our scalable services, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, security and protection of our customer sensitive data:        

• Manage and monitor systems and backup infrastructure
• Fulfill service requests and resolve incidents
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Maintain, create backup and perform recovery procedures.
• Help in the design and implementation solutions

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems
• Proven working experience in infrastructure environments involving any Data Protection technologies
• Analytical & problem-solving skills
• Familiar with common backup strategies and storage appliances
• Very good knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V)
• Expertise in Application and Databases (e.g. MS SQL, MS Exchange, Oracle)
• Good understanding of best practices in setting up and monitoring infrastructure
• Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, Firewalls)
• Excellent organizing, prioritizing and multitasking abilities
• A collaborative team player mind-set
• Fluent in Greek & English

    Nice to have

• Experience as a System Administrator of Windows and Linux OS (installation, configuration, package management, etc.)
• Familiar with Cloud Technologies (e.g. MS Azure)
• Good knowledge of Veeam and Dell Technologies
• Relevant Certifications
