STHENOS AI, a new company and member of EFA GROUP, specializing in advanced artificial intelligence solutions for the defense sector and dual-use applications, is collaborating with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Infinitum to implement an advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML) infrastructure and containerized environment, designed to accelerate innovation in the fields of defense, security and software.
The project is part of EFA GROUP’s broader strategy to develop independent, secure and high-performance AI ecosystems in Greece. Its ultimate goal is to strengthen industrial and technological autonomy and enable the development of mission-critical AI applications in a controlled environment.
The infrastructure will operate at STHENOS AI’s facilities, ensuring complete security, autonomy and data sovereignty in line with the latest cybersecurity standards.
Key project pillars
The project concerns the development of an integrated AI/ML platform based on Red Hat OpenShift AI, for the training, deployment and management of artificial intelligence models in a containerized environment. The infrastructure is powered by HPE GPU servers with NVIDIA H200 Tensor Core GPUs, ensuring high performance for training and inference workloads, while data storage is based on HPE Alletra Storage Arrays for maximum resilience and speed.
The platform delivers an advanced containerized architecture, unified management of Kubernetes workloads and high levels of availability, cybersecurity and data protection, leveraging technologies from leading international vendors.
